TOPIC 1: How Covid Changed your Life

Format:  Video in “.mp4” format of 3-4 minutes with credits.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Open for Undergraduate students and CAT aspirants
  • No entry fee
  • A team can be of maximum 3 people of same institution
  • Video from any digital camera including smartphones will be accepted
  • Video retouched using editing apps will be accepted
  • Videos that have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible
  • Any entry that has been reproduced from an existing video or any other artwork produced by another person is a violation of the competition rules and will not be judged, accepted or displayed
  • Submission must be in mp4 format and named as: ‘Paparazzi – Participant’s Registered Name’
  • The entries must be emailed, from registered email address, to [email protected] with the subject: ‘Paparazzi – Participant’s Registered Name’
  • If participants fail to follow the mentioned format, their entries stand to be disqualified

Evaluation Criteria

Jury’s choice award

  • Artistic/ visual appeal
  • The extent to which the video captures the essence of the theme
  • Originality and creativity

The decision of jury will be final and no correspondence pertaining to the selection process and decision will be entertained
The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prizes if the video submitted do not meet the requirements stated in this document

People’s choice award

  • The popularity of video posted on Instagram will determine the winner
  • Popularity will be evaluated based on points gained for the number of likes, shares and comments on the official post

1 Like = 1 Point

1 comment = 2 Points

1 share = 5 points

This will be the scheme of marking for this competition

  • People must ‘Like’ both, the page and the official post for it to be counted
  • Use of auto liker applications will lead to disqualification
  • Entries will be posted on Instagram  page of Unnayan by 10 a.m. everyday


  • Entries and the persons depicted therein are restricted to works for which the entrant holds the copyright or for which the entrant has received the prior usage permission of the right holder
  • Before submitting a work, the entrant is responsible for taking all steps necessary to protect the right of publicity and other rights of persons depicted in the work, including but not limited to obtaining their permission, to avoid any problems related to the infringement of these rights
  • Entrants are responsible for the resolution of any legal issues arising from their submitted works and agree to pay any costs thereby incurred
  • The organizer reserves the right to disallow entries that depict brand logos or other intellectual property, whether on neon signs, posters, or in other forms, or that in its judgment are harmful to public order, violate standards of decency, or are contrary to the goals of the contest
  • Entrants must hold all applicable rights to the final video, including any retouching or other processing
  • Decision of organizers will be final and binding
